AGA NYC Chapter: Welcomes You.
Welcome to New York Chapter AGA Website, the official web page of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) New York Chapter located in the heart of New York City. We are an organization serving government financial management professionals in the five boroughs (Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island) and Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk Counties). We foster professional growth by providing continuing professional education events and opportunities to network with other government professionals.
Since 1950, the Association of Government Accountants has been--and remains today--the educational organization dedicated to the enhancement of public financial management. AGA serves the professional interests of financial managers, from local, state and federal governments, as well as public accounting firms.
Our mission is to serve persons interested in the government accountability community by providing quality education at a reasonable cost, supporting professional certifications, promoting professional interaction and networking, recognizing professional and academic achievement, and serving the local community.
