Nominations for Chapter - Officers and Directors

Would you like to actively participate in our organization? This is the opportunity to network with other professionals in Federal, State, City and local government, and the private sector as well. We are now soliciting candidates for positions of Chapter Officer and Directors for the upcoming year

  • President-Elect: assists the President in the execution of her/his duties, performs special functions as assigned by the President.

  • Secretary: performs administrative and management duties, including keeping minutes of the proceedings of Chapter meetings.

  • Treasurer: acts as custodian for all Chapter funds.

  • Director (s): 12 positions. The Directors set the goals and objectives of the Chapter, review and approve programs, and serve as chairs on one or more of the following committees:

  • Awards identifies members who have made noteworthy contributions to the Chapter, the profession, or the community.

  • Budget and Finance formulates and monitors the Chapter's budget.

  • Early Career work with colleges/universities to recruit members and develop programs

  • Programs and Education develops education program and arranges for luncheon speakers.

  • Membership helps to maintain steady growth in Chapter membership through various recruitment efforts, including development of incentives.

  • Newsletter assists the newsletter editor in organizing and preparing the monthly newsletter.

  • Public Relations establishes and maintains contact with other professional organizations.
